How did it all start?

Club Connex is a new messaging app launched in 2021 by Club Connex Limited.

Based in Co. Down, the idea of a total secure, GDPR compliant messaging app to suit the needs of clubs of all sizes came to me during the first lockdown of 2020 due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Overnight, clubs were compelled to manage team sessions, mentoring and covid restrictions – all whilst maintaining direct communication with club members and parents alike. During this time, coaches were being bombarded with an onslaught of messages. Messages were going astray, being deleted, or being sent to the wrong contact; with numerous messages sent out to groups about training times etc. 

My phone was getting hot with a continuous flow of messages from within the club messaging group; messages I didn’t even need to know – only the direct team coach did. The time was now for Club Connex.

Club Connex was developed as a dedicated secure messaging app for clubs of ALL sizes. 

It’s a customer/club driven platform with its user at its heart. This secure messaging app allows each team within the club to have the one secure message board, with as many admins/coaches per team as they like.

The coach/admin post the messages out to all within the group; and then only they, the coach, sees the club member replies. No other club member sees your message, and you see no-one else’s due to the messenger style interface in the app making it easy to communicate directly and securely!

(It also stops all those unnecessary messages and replies heating up your phone).

Unique codes are issued for each club and team, with club members being issued the code to allow them access to the team they need to be in.
